I am a Jesuit of the Central Southern Province of the United States.  Upon receiving my doctorate in theology and literature at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley California in 2003, I moved to Loyola University Chicago as a professor in the departments of English and theology from 2003-2017. I also served in various capacities in campus ministry and liturgy.  My interests focus on the intersection of religion and art, especially the 20^th century Catholic literary tradition.
