Interests:
Fr. Gillespie is a psychologist of religion who has published in the areas of psychology and Catholicism; counseling and spirituality; post-traumatic growth and transcendence.  He has presented programs in the US and on five continents.

Academic Positions:
Before coming to Holy Trinity, Fr. Gillespie served as president of Saint Joseph’s University, Associate Provost at Loyola University of Chicago, and Assistant Professor in the Department of Pastoral Care and Counseling at Loyola University of Maryland.  

Hobbies: 
Gardening; sports (baseball, tennis, basketball, golf); travel and pilgrimages; arts (movies, theater, museums, classical music); literature (mostly nonfiction).
